The life journey of each Woman Beautiful team member lays delicately before you in the hopes that you would know that you don't walk alone. We believe that we are all gifted and our gifts are to be used for the good of the body of Christ as well as those outside the Church. Ultimately, we use our gifts for God's glory. We are wholly committed to helping women in: spiritual maturity, marriage, singlehood, child rearing, relationships, finances, physical health, home management, and trauma as well as the many other aspects of womanhood. Amanda is the founder of Woman Beautiful and The Refuge by Woman Beautiful. Her love for God and her passion for women inspired her to write her first book, Woman Beautiful, Embracing The Woman God Created You To Be, which was released in July 2009. Her other books include: Sex, Submission and Spirituality; The Truths Men Really Need To Know and Red, White and New; An American History Story. She and her husband, John, celebrate more than 35 years of marriage. They have 5 adult children, 5 sons/daughter-in-love, and 16+1 grandchildren. One of her favorite Bible verses is Isaiah 40:31, "But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew thier strength, they shall mount up with wings as eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint."
Amanda is a gifted speaker and entertainer. She speaks on a variety of topics including the 6 aspects of beauty: Mental and Emotional Beauty, Relational Beauty, Spiritual Beauty, Physical beauty, Financial Beauty, and Sexual Beauty. She is available to speak at your event whether it be a two hour women's tea or a all day conference. Her clean comedy character, Aunt Birtha, is fun, encouraging and enlightening for all ages. Amanda is former President of the Board for Grace Place Pregnancy Care Center, a center that helps expactant women and girls, and their families. Nique is the mother of six children ages ten through twenty-one. She and her husband diligently persue the one-flesh marriage God intends for every married couple. Rearing their children in the fear and admonition of the Lord is their greatest priority and goal. Nique is her husband's righthand-woman and a stay at home wife and mother. She is a former Preschool Director and writes curriculum for children. Her life Bible verse is James 1:2-3, "Count it all joy when you encounter various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. Whitney is the mother of 3 children ages fifteen through neneteen. She is a gifted homemaker and bookkeeper for Triple Cross Accounting. Whitney loves Jesus, people and farm animals. She enjoys traveling with her husband and attending her children's sports events. Johnette joyfully lives by Romans 8:25, "But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently." Johnette is a fulltime wife and mom who enjoys cooking, reading, running and traveling. She coordinates and executes a local scholarship program for graduating seniors; plans events for charities and her husband's business, and she plans Sunday's lesson for the children at her church. Johnette is always eager to get started in the next Bible Study. She and her husband, Dustin, reside in Kansas with their two children ages eight and five. Kendra is the youngest member of the Woman Beautiful team. She is living proof that God's love transforms the heart and mind. Kendra is a licensed cosmetologist, color and makeup specialist and mother of 2 children ages eleven and six. She and her family live in Oklahoma. Marlene serves faithfully in her local church. She and her husband have several children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Marlene has been noted as saying about her husband, "He's not perfect but he's perfect for me." She and Joel reside in Kansas. Marlene hears the voice of the LORD and resoponds accordingly...with great joy! When she sees a need she consults the Lord and always gives in abundance.
